Under normal situation, we would suggest two coats. Rubber to Metal bonding agents are designed so that the primer adhere to the substrate, the top coat adhere to the elastomer, and the primer and top coat adhere to each other. Under this principle, the substrate is bonded with the elastomer. When demand for adhesion strength is minimal, single coat may also be used.
