- For the production of pesticides and pharmaceutical intermediates.
- For the production p-tert-butylphenol formaldehyde resin. Used in the production of oil-soluble resin used in the field of ink.
- P-tert-butylphenol formaldehyde resin is also used in the synthesis of synthetic rubber tackifier and tire industry adhesive.
